Directions

From the A38.  

On A38 going West,  pass  Ivybridge and Lee Mill and take the slip road signed Plympton B3416. At the top of the slip road turn left (do not turn right to go to Plympton) and then bear sharp right, follow signs to Brixton, Elburton, Plymstock.  At the first T junction turn left signed to Brixton then after about a mile, (just after "rumble strips" on the road) turn right signed to Elburton/Plymstock. When you get to the large roundabout by the Elburton Pub, go straight across taking the second exit signed Plymstock. Now go to 'Elburton to Wembury' below.

If you have missed the B3416 on the A38, continue on and take the slip road into Plymouth. You will reach a roundabout and on your left is a superstore with a roof resembling 'yacht sails'. Take the first exit off this roundabout to Plymouth and (important) get into the right -hand lane (beware - there are two speed cameras on this road and the speed limit is 40 m.p.h.). Keeping in the right-hand lane signed Kingsbridge/Plymstock, - you will eventually see the Plymouth City Centre road fork off to your left (do not take it), and just after that you will reach a junction. Turn left and left again at the traffic lights following the signs to Kingsbridge. The third roundabout is the Elburton Pub roundabout and take the third exit off that signed Plymstock.  Now go to Elburton to Wembury below.

From Millbay Ferry Terminal

Leaving Millbay Docks follow the road to Kingsbridge. Having gone over Laira Bridge (the only bridge you cross) you will go straight across two roundabouts and at the third roundabout, at the Elburton Pub.,  take the third exit signed Plymstock. Now go to 'Elburton to Wembury' below.

Elburton to Wembury

Do not take the left hand turn into Wembury Road (a cul-de-sac) but continue to the first set of traffic lights. Turn left and continue to Cross Roads Garage. (Do not turn right here)  but keep straight on and you will come to Hollacombe (30 m.p.h.speed limit) and then to a right turn signed to Wembury Beach, into Knighton which is part of Wembury (make sure you make this turn which is the main road - if you go straight on you will eventually come to a farm.!) Go down Knighton Hill and when you see the Odd Wheel Pub on your right, and the school followed by the village hall on your left, take the left turning past the village hall called Mewstone Av. & signed Wembury Church & Beach (as you go down you will see the Mewstone ahead of you out at sea). Take the fourth turning into Hawthorn Drive and follow that around two right bends. Turn left at the T junction - this is Hawthorn Park Road and Seahorses is down the hill and is the last house (as opposed to bungalows) on your left
